Student Ministries

Welcome to the Student Ministries page of the FBC Wetumpka website. We are excited about what God is doing in our church and community, and we invite you to join us as we partner with God in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and enjoy seeing hearts and lives changed for the best and forever!

Our Student Ministry is just one of the many facets of ministry at FBC Wetumpka. Students meet for worship with our entire church family on Sunday mornings, either at 8:30 AM in our Contemporary Worship Service or at 11:00 AM in our Classic Worship Service. We meet for Small Group Bible Studies, called Bridge Groups at FBC, on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM.

Throughout the school year, our students gather for student lead worship on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM. Our SNL! (Sunday Night LIVE!) services are designed to address the needs, goals, and circumstances that are unique to students. We have a great time of worship and celebration, and we invite all students in our region who are not already involved in a local church family to come join us for Sunday Night LIVE!

Our Re:New Student Arts and Ministry Teams are a great way for students to plug into ministry at FBC. Student Arts opportunities include involvement in our Student Choir, Puppets, Drama & Human Video, Praise Band, and our new Audio/Visual Productions Team. Re:New Teams are involved in ministry events 2 - 3 times each month, primarily on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Re:New is being revamped and re-amped for 2010, and all arts and ministry teams will meet weekly at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoons beginning August 15th.

Wednesday evenings are set aside for ministry and discipleship for students. We gather at 6:00 PM in our third floor assembly room and divide into ministry groups from there, and we wrap things up around 7:30 PM. Our students meet in small groups twice a month to dig deeper in God's Word and apply it personally to their lives. On the other two Wednesdays, students are involved in both on and off campus ministry activities to learn to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
